I believe in the moments when the dots connect, that doing nothing is sometimes just as important as doing something and I believe in being silly - no matter what others think. I believe the more I learn the less I know and that the phrases "I appreciate you" and "thank you" are severely underused. I believe in potential and that everyone is capable of much more than they think they are. ​I believe in having expectations. I believe in the memories that come from a sweatshirt smelling like campfire and that spending an hour in Target is one of the very best ways to spend an hour. I believe in love. The chick flick kind. And the let's do the dishes kind. I believe in run-on sentences, one space after a period, never two, and that sometimes you need to be a rule breaker. I believe that the best way to solve conflict is to show empathy, that corner brownies taste better than middle of the pan brownies and I believe in re-doing high fives if the first one wasn't good enough. I believe in the power of mascara on sleepy eyes and in loving others well.
